Branding / Visual identity
Together with Knupp®, we’re nurturing this new venture so it blossoms into something big, beautiful and strong.
Knupp is a new Norwegian garden centre chain based in Eastern Norway. It currently consists of seven garden centres with about 130 employees in all. Knupp wants to become the customers' preferred local garden centre, with a special focus on inspiration, enthusiasm, experiences and activities. They sell the market's leading products from the best suppliers of plants, garden furniture, gardening equipment and interior products, as well the best products for your pets.
Why the name Knupp?
Knupp means 'an early bud' or a shoot, but in Norwegian it can also be used to describe someone who 'is a real find'.
A 'knupp' is something very special. Like a lot of other things, it grows into something big, beautiful and strong if well-tended and given enough loving care. The same applies to people. At Knupp® garden centres, they are concerned with looking after all living plants. As they say: 'You reap what you sow.'
'It has been incredibly interesting and educational to work with Kind on developing the brand for our new garden centre chain. Kind picked up on our ideas quickly and effectively and came up with a name and a style that we loved right from the outset. I strongly recommend Kind for their creative work,' said Knut Anders Berg, general manager of Knupp.
