It is a kindergarten with a perspective that many others should have: namely, the child’s own.

Vikemarka believes that children should be both seen and heard. Time spent with adults is also important, in terms of shaping their development and helping them to get the right perspective on life. Kind focused on this approach in its brand communication for Vikemarka, drawing inspiration from the youngsters and putting them centre-stage. As a result, it is communication seen from a child’s perspective. 

'Beyond what we could imagine'
Perny Austnes, owner of Vikemarka, said: ‘I want to thank Kind for a wonderfully exciting and inspirational partnership. We asked for a visual identity, but got so much more. The result was beyond what we could imagine.’ CEO and Creative Director of Kind, Tom Emil Olsen, said: ‘Pablo Picasso once said that “Every child is an artist; the problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Creative work is largely about rediscovering the child in yourself. Children have a different perspective and see things in other ways, without learned preferences.

'Hugely enjoyable'
