Osland has been breeding trout since 1963 and preserves Norway’s oldest pedigree trout broodstock. KIND partnered closely with the organisation to reposition both the business strategy and the brand — transforming deep biological expertise into a clear, future-facing platform.

This foundation informed a complete redesign of the brand — from narrative and positioning to visual identity and implementation across touchpoints.

The brand centres on form — how life is shaped from within, by DNA, environment, and expertise. From roe to fjord, micro to macro, the identity expresses precision, responsibility, and long-term stewardship.

Circular forms inspired by roe, DNA, and the fish itself define the visual system, while a refined palette of trout reds and marine blues reflects the balance between biology and nature. A subtle linguistic shift — From becomes Form — captures Osland’s ability to evolve heritage into future value.
