Branding for a healthier, more sustainable world

KIND has been working with biorefining specialists, Biomega, on a full-scale rebrand to reflect its mission to make a positive impact on the world by improving vitality and quality of life.

Founded in 2000, Biomega is passionate about nutrition and biotechnology. This innovative company aims to advance biotechnology to release the full nutritional and functional value of otherwise under-utilised side streams from the salmon industry. By investing continuously in best-in-class technology, Biomega has responded to customers’ needs in key areas such as traceability and sustainability, and now supplies premium feed and food-grade ingredients to the health and nutrition industry worldwide.

The acquisition of Biomega by New York based investor giant, AMERRA Capital, in 2017 put in place the support required to allow the company to pursue its full growth potential. One element identified in this long-term business growth strategy was the instigation of a full brand review – a process that has now been successfully completed by the KIND team.

KIND has been a pleasure to work with. Their unique insight and brand vision process helped us to formulate the brand identity. KIND is very creative, and their brand strategists helped us translate our business into a strong unified brand. The feedback on our branding from the market has been excellent.”

We worked with them to fully understand that ambition and to ensure it was reflected in their branding. It was a really interesting project with a lot of new insights – and Biomega has been a great client to work with.”
